The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme 2026–2027 Academic Year Istanbul Pre-Departure Seminar was held on 10 June 2026.

As part of the seminar, scholarship applicants had the opportunity to learn in detail about the placement process, contract procedures, and monitoring mechanisms. Thanks to the get-together and networking events held throughout the day, participants were able to share their experiences with one another and forge new connections.

Within the programme, Senior EU Expert Yeliz Turan from the Directorate for EU Affairs delivered a presentation on the placement process; Contract Manager Büşra Demircioğlu from the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) presented on contract procedures; and Junior EU Expert Ezgi Kocaadam from the Directorate for EU Affairs provided insights into monitoring processes.
