The info day meetings for the 2026-2027 academic year Announcement of Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme were held on 23 September 2025 in Ankara and on 30 September 2025 in Istanbul.

The event in Ankara hosted at European Union Research Centre (ATAUM), opened with remarks by Mr. Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs; Ms. Maria Luisa Wyganowski, Head of Financial Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye and Mr. Barbaros M. Köse, Head of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit. Speakers emphasized the programme’s role as a bridge in Türkiye–EU relations and highlighted the opportunities it provides to scholarship candidates.

Following the opening addresses, Ms. F. Yeliz Turan, EU Affairs Expert at the Directorate for EU Affairs, and Mr. Aliren Haşimoğlu, Contract Manager at the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the 2026-2027 application process. The event concluded with a Q&A session addressing participants’ questions.

The Istanbul info day took place at the Economic Development Foundation (IKV) Central Office Conference Hall. Ms. F. Yeliz Turan, EU Affairs Expert at the Directorate for EU Affairs and Mr. Aliren Haşimoğlu, Contract Manager at the Central Finance and Contracts Unit provided detailed information about the new Announcement.
