The info day meetings for the 2025-2026 academic year of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme were conducted on September 24, 2024, in Ankara and on September 27, 2024, in Istanbul.

The event in Ankara began with opening remarks from Mr. Bülent Özcan, Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs, Mr. Laurent Guirkinger, Head of the Human and Social Development Section at the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye and Ms. Sevda Algün, Senior Procurement Manager at the Central Finance and Contracts Unit. Speakers underlined the importance of the programme for Türkiye-EU relations and underscored that the new term offers significant opportunities for scholarship candidates.

Comprehensive presentations regarding the 2025-2026 academic year announcement of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme were delivered after the opening addresses by Ms. F. Yeliz Turan, EU Affairs Expert at the Directorate for EU Affairs, and Ms. Büşra Demircioğlu, Contract Manager at the Central Finance and Contracts Unit. The event concluded with a Q&A session where participants’ questions were addressed.

In the Istanbul info day, Ms. Suna Yüksel Poyraz, EU Affairs Expert at the Directorate for EU Affairs, delivered a presentation about the new announcement period and answered participants’ questions.
