Scholars of 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 academic years of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme implemented by the Directorate for European Union Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, financed by the European Union met at a certificate ceremony which was held on 15 June 2021 in Ankara.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mr. Faruk Kaymakcı, the Head of the European Union Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Mr. Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, and the Head of Central Finance and Contracts Unit Dr. Hakan Ertürk participated in the ceremony which was organised for scholars who have completed their master’s degree and research studies successfully in prestigious educational institutions in Europe within the scope of Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme.
Representing the 2018 – 2019 and 2019 – 2020 academic years, Ms. İpek Bengisu, Mr. Salih Burak Akat, Ms. İrem Yücesoy and Mr. Doruk Erhan shared their experiences and achievements regarding the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme.
After the speeches, our scholars were presented their certificates by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mr. Faruk Kaymakcı and the Head of the European Union Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Mr. Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut. The ceremony ended with a music concert, which was held after the family photos were taken.
