Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Visited Universities in Italy

Representatives of the Directorate for EU Affairs and the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, which  are responsible for the implementation of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, attended a study visit aiming improve cooperation with universities in Italy.

Rome, Milan and Turin were visited within the scope of the study visit to universities mostly preferred by the Jean Monnet Scholars in the aim of establishing good relations with the Italian universities to introduce the scholarship programme to different universities. Meetings were held with LUISS Guido Carli University, Roma Tre University, Tor Vergata University of Rome and ESE European School of Economics in Rome, Bocconi University and Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan, and the University of Turin in Turin.

The delegation consisting of representatives from the Directorate for EU Affairs,  the Central Finance and Contracts Unit and the Technical Assistance Team of the project met with the universities and held discussions on the suitable graduate programmes in English and Italian, as well as on issues such as admissions criteria, application processes, visa procedures, accommodation facilities and school fees.

Within the scope of the programme, A. Hakan Atik, Head of the Project Implementation Department of the Directorate for EU Affairs, and Saygın Tozlu, Senior Contract Manager of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, visited Ömer Gücük, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Rome, at his office introducing the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme and the purpose of the visit.
