The certificate ceremony for the 2010-2011 scholars of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme was held on 21st of May at Ankara Çengelhan. Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, which is financed by the EU and implemented by the Ministry for EU Affairs, aims to provide the required human resources specialized in the EU field within the framework of EU accession process of Turkey.
Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, Ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert; many ambassadors and PAO-Director of Central Finance and Contracts Unit, Muhsin Altun attended the ceremony which was hosted by Ambassador M. Haluk Ilıcak, Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs.
The ceremony commenced with the opening speeches given by Ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, and Ambassador M. Haluk Ilıcak, Undersecretary of the Ministry for EU Affairs. Following the opening speeches, the scholars supported in the 2010-2011 academic year were awarded their certificates. The ceremony ended after a dinner attended by the protocol, academics and public officers who have significant contributions to the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme and the scholars.
