Approximately 70 of 2018 – 2019 academic year Jean Monnet Scholars who have been continuing their academic studies in the most prestigious institutes across Europe gathered on 29 – 30 November 2018 at the Brussels Monitoring & Study Visit under the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and Head of EU Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Christian Berger came together with Turkish Jean Monnet scholars for the 2018-2019 academic year in Brussels on 29 November 2018. At the meeting held at Permanent Delegation of Turkey to the EU, Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı and Ambassador Christian Berger briefed the participants on Turkey’s EU accession process.
Brussels Monitoring and Study Visit aimed to track the reflection of recent developments in Turkey on its journey across European Union at Brussels and to meet the representatives of some of the European Union Institutions as well as visiting TUSIAD , TOBB and IKV at Brussels in order to show the changes in Turkey simultaneously to our European counterparties.
